And Another Thing

Yesterday I checked my Amazon.com site for non existing reviews (please somebody in the US review The Digger’s Daughter) and realised that my author picture and biography was missing. I emailed Author Central who told me that as the two sites are not connected you have to join author central at Amazon.com as well. So two and a half years after publishing my first book I have found this out. What else don’t I know? You’d better not answer that.

I can also have my own Amazon author site at amazon.com/author/rosemarynoble

Because I have only just started to think about marketing, I feel I have been missing lots of tricks. Still I now have 153 followers on twitter (most of them seem to want me to pay money to advertise my books) but some are other authors / editors and have useful advice.

This marketing starts as a slow trickle but one day it might flow into a stream. It’s something you have to keep working on every day.

What are your tricks?
